Lava has added a new 5G smartphone to its budget range with the Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G. The phone focuses on some features that many users look for in an affordable smartphone, including a large 6,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, 50MP camera and 5G connectivity.
The phone is also powered by the Unisoc T8200 processor and comes with Android 16. Here is a simple look at its important features, price, availability and things to know before buying it.
Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling through websites, menus and supported apps feel smoother than a standard 60Hz screen.
The phone is powered by the Unisoc T8200 5G processor and has 6GB of RAM with support for up to another 6GB of virtual RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage, and the storage can be expanded using a microSD card.
For photography, the phone has a 50MP AI rear camera along with an additional auxiliary camera. The front camera is listed as 8MP in Lava’s published specifications, with the company noting that this resolution uses software interpolation.
Big 6000mAh Battery
One of the main highlights of the Bold N4 Pro 5G is its 6,000mAh battery. This large battery can be useful for people who spend a lot of time watching videos, browsing the internet, using social media or playing games.
The phone supports 18W charging, so users should not expect extremely fast charging like some more expensive smartphones.
Android 16 and Clean Software
The smartphone comes with Android 16. Lava is also promoting a clean software experience without unnecessary pre-installed third-party apps.
This can be useful for users who prefer a simple interface and want more control over which apps they install on their phone.
5G and Other Features
As the name suggests, the phone supports 5G connectivity. It also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device. It also carries an IP64 rating, which provides protection against dust and water splashes, but it should not be treated as a fully waterproof phone.
Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G Price in India
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G has been introduced in India at a special launch price of ₹13,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Its listed regular/MRP price is ₹15,999.
The first sale is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at 12 PM, through Amazon. The phone is available in Monaco Blue and Opulent Lilac colours.
What Makes the Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G Interesting?
The phone combines several useful features in one budget device. The 6,000mAh battery is helpful for longer daily use, while the 120Hz display can provide smoother scrolling.
The 5G support also means users can take advantage of compatible 5G networks where available. The clean Android 16 experience may be another useful point for people who don’t like phones filled with unnecessary apps.
However, buyers should also remember that this is a budget phone. The HD+ LCD display is not comparable to the AMOLED panels found on many more expensive devices, and 18W charging is fairly modest.
Who Should Consider This Phone?
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G can be considered by users who mainly want a phone for calling, WhatsApp, social media, YouTube, browsing and normal daily apps.
It may also suit users who give more importance to battery life and 5G connectivity than to having a premium display or very fast charging.
For heavy gaming or people looking for advanced camera features, it is worth comparing other phones in the same price range before making a decision.
The Final Words
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G brings a large battery, 120Hz display, 50MP camera, 5G connectivity and Android 16 to the budget segment. Its ₹13,999 launch price also puts it in a competitive price range.
The biggest attractions are the 6,000mAh battery, clean software, 5G support and 120Hz display. At the same time, buyers should keep the HD+ display and 18W charging in mind before purchasing.
Overall, the Bold N4 Pro 5G is aimed at people who want a practical everyday 5G phone without spending too much.
